Becoming a Provider for the Assumption Ready Start Network means a bright future for you, and an even brighter future for our children! Through a Type III Center License or qualifying as a Family Child Care site.
Type III Center
A “type III license” is the type of license issued to an early learning center that directly or indirectly receives state or federal funds from any source other than the federal food and nutrition programs. Type III early learning centers shall meet the performance and academic standards of the Early Childhood Care and Education Network regarding kindergarten readiness as determined by BESE.

A provider who cares for up to six (6) children in the provider’s home, it is considered a Family Child Care site and is encouraged to register with the Louisiana Department of Education.
